The spray chrysanthemums produced by J&A Flowers are cultivated at two modern production locations. At these locations, conditions are optimally controlled in order to produce top-quality flowers. During the 10-week cultivation process, we make use of equipment that optimally contributes to the quality of the flowers and with which we can cultivate in as environmentally friendly a manner as possible.
Planting robot: ensures minimum labour requirements and uniform plant growth. WKK: a gas turbine that produces heat, electricity and CO2 (plant-based fertiliser). Lighting: the lamps ensure sufficient light levels throughout the entire year, guaranteeing the quality of the flowers. Sprayers: the sprayers efficiently apply crop protection agents and organic pesticides. Bunching machine: This machine packages harvested flowers within 5 minutes.
In addition to production of chrysanthemums, J&A Flowers also breeds chrysanthemums. We continually strive to create new varieties with even better characteristics than existing species, or even a completely new type of flower!
